How to merge a video track and an audio track

Combine compatible local video and audio tracks into one MP4 without uploading them.

Choose compatible tracks

The current fast merge copies tracks into MP4 instead of re-encoding them. H.264 video and AAC audio provide the most reliable result.

Merge the files

  1. Select the file containing the video track.
  2. Select the file containing the audio track.
  3. Start the local merge.
  4. Preview the file information and download the MP4 result.

Why a merge can fail

  • The selected file has no required track.
  • The codec cannot be stored in MP4.
  • The source is encrypted, damaged or too large for available browser memory.
